im really torn up over my ex. does anyone know a proven way to make him want me back?

i pushed him away for a long time because of a matter that doesnt matter, the point is i treated him badly and i regret it alot. and now that i have pushed aside that matter and we were dating for a while. he dumped me and he told me that it was the reason that i wouldnt date him in the first place.i am torn up and confused and i didnt even get closure from him. i need help on how to get him back or something because i am not the same now.

nothing is for sure ever, i guess i would work on myself body soul and everything you know about him that he likes and show him how loving you are now
